This summer, the glossy business magazine Financoff promoted Ukrainian society journalism to the new level – it published a big exclusive interview with one of the most august persons in the world. The September issue’s central figure is Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duchess of Castro. “This was a tremendous experience for me and it made me so happy! I’m proud of conducting an interview with such an impressive person,” – admitted Elvira Gavrilova, the Chief Editor of the publication, on her Instagram. She has recently announced that the Ukrainian magazine will be distributed, besides other European countries, in Italy, too. The conversation with the spouse of Prince Carlo of Bourbon, the heir to Two Sicilies throne, has raised the bar of the magazine to a new level and became a real present not only for the readers in Ukraine but also for the expat community as well as the fans of the Bourbon family around the world (all Financoff materials are presented in English, too).
Meeting the Princess at Cannes Film Festival
Princess Camilla and I first met at the Cannes Film Festival, – shares Elvira Gavrilova. The Chief Editor then had lunch with Her Highness at the “Ermitage” hotel, where they agreed about an interview. They met several months later in Saint-Tropez (France), where Elvira came to become a guest at the Bourbon Villa. She was accompanied by a photographer from “Amillidius”, an international advertising agency, headed by Bogdan Terzi, a Ukrainian national. The photographer provided Financoff with fantastic photographs of the Princess with her husband and daughters against the background of their house and park. Elvira presented to the royal family a painting, created in the unique technique – “the colorful graphics on the leather”. The author of the artistic work called “An Angel of a Person” (from the series “Ezekiel’s Animals”) is the famous Ukrainian artist and philosopher Konstantin Skoptsov, whose producer these days is Elviral Gavrila.
The secrets of the royal upbringing in the future book by Elvira Gavrilova
Some results of the meeting of Financoff Chief Editor and the Princess and her family were not included in the magazine issue. The readers of Elvira’s blogs found out that she collected new material for her future book about raising children. “I’ve been writing it for quite a few years now. To make it qualitative, I travel a lot around the world and meet interesting people from different walks of life,” comments Elina both as a journalist and producer. Camilla’s and Carlo’s of Bourbon daughters, Maria Carolina and Maria Chiara, are examples of top-notch aristocratic upbringing; so the book will gain a great value if the author reveals the methods used by the young ladies’ parents, there. We are looking forward to the book and following the news about its release and other projects on Elvira Gavrilova’s website.
